Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif today said that she has decided not to work with actor Vivek Oberoi in movies.

“I would not work with Vivek anyway,” the 25-year-old actor told reporters here when asked about the actor.

Her statement assumes importance in the backdrop that the relationship between Salman Khan, considered close to Katrina, and Vivek is far from being hunky-dory.

However, she hurriedly added that she takes her own decisions and denied that they were influenced by Salman.

Mumbai: For all those who thought Salman to be Katrina’s mentor, there’s news. Well, it wasn’t Salman who introduced this sizzler to Bollywood but Ayesha Shroff, actor Jackie Shroff’s wife, who did this good deed. But then people do move on and this is what has precisely happened with Kat, for the actress seems to have forgotten her real mentor.

In a sensational interview to a news daily, Ayesha Shroff has clarified many a misconceptions about Katrina Kaif. First things first ‘Kaif’ is not Katrina’s real surname but she is Katrina Turquotte originally. “Katrina had an English surname, which was not easy to pronounce. She is not Katrina Kaif originally. She is Katrina Turquotte. We wanted to give her a surname which would be accepted by the Indian audience. First we thought of naming her Katrina Kazi, but then we thought Kazi would have a religious overtone. So we thought of Kaif”, says a placid Ayesha.

But the latest buzz is that Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan are coming together for a Yash Raj film.

The film will be directed either by Aditya Chopra or Kabir Khan of New York fame.

This news also brings to conclusion that the cold war between Shah Rukh Khan and actor Salman Khan maybe over. Salman Khan’s girl friend Katrina Kaif having agreed to be part of Yash Raj project with Shah Rukh Khan.

The film will go to the floors in early 2010. It will sell like hot cakes a sit stars Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan together for the first time

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will launch the sequel to Dostana soon. Dostana, one of the big hits of recent time is a comedy directed by Tarun Mansukhani starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol in lead roles. In the movie, Abhishek and John pretended to be a gay couple.

The sequel of the film will have Katrina Kaif in the lead role and Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade as heroes. The only ‘big’ change is that it is heard that the boys will be playing a real gay couple. Though the production house auditioned many new girls, they finally settled for Katrina Kaif.

Katrina Kaif has just had the most memorable vacation in Marbella, Spain with her only brother Michael and the other Kaif sisters. The actress can’t get over the fact that her sisters have all transformed into lovely women.

“It was quite a sight to see six similar-looking women accompanied by one 30-year-old handsome guy (my brother Michael) into restaurants in Spain. We formed a secret society that excluded everyone around. We were just happy being one family.”

The downside of this family reunion was that all the Spanish guys stayed away. “I think they got intimidated seeing us accompanied by one man. They couldn’t make out what the man’s connection with these women was.”

Only the eldest sister from the Kaif family got some male attention in Marbella .

Explains Katrina, “That’s because she speaks fluent Spanish. She had a Mexican boyfriend. All the sisters just stuck together having a ball with an invisible ‘No Trespassers Allowed’ board stuck to us.”
