What’s it that’s making Katrina Kaif run away from Ranbir Kapoor films? The reports suggesting that kats has opted to walk out of director Imtiaz Ali’s film which had Ranbir Kapoor as her co star to work in Zoya Akhtar’s (Farhan Akhtar’s sister) film opposite Hrithik Roshan as her co star is creating more furore than it actually calls for.

There were rumors doing the rounds that Kats opted out of a film opposite Ranbir inspite of having tasted the waters of success with him in 2009 with the super hit film ‘Ajab Prem…..and there fore being tagged as the hottest couple in filmdom. Even though the two are yet to come n their next film ‘Rajneeti’ but they are not playing the love couple in it as Katrina has a very serious politician’s role in the film.

Leaves will never sway unless the wind blows. An actor once said that it’s just a plain lie if a pair says that they share great chemistry on screen and yet not get attracted to each other. If we are to go by this claim, it’s difficult to describe the relationship that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif share. The chemistry between them is said to be great.

Ranbir and Katrina had great time shooting for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. They pulled each other’s legs and yet got along very well. Ranbir philosophically said that chemistry is something that the characters share and not between two individuals. Speculations are rife that Bollywood actors Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif are at war fighting for the top position. Adding more fuel to the fire, it was reported that Katrina has replaced Priyanka in the hit film Dostana by Karan Johar.

However, Priyanka, who is basking on the stupendous success of Kaminey, denied having cold vibes with Katrina. She said that she has no problem with Katrina and that her character in Dostana had reached the end, as depicted at the end of the film. She added that every actor is a competitor including Katrina.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif today said that she has decided not to work with actor Vivek Oberoi in movies.

“I would not work with Vivek anyway,” the 25-year-old actor told reporters here when asked about the actor.

Her statement assumes importance in the backdrop that the relationship between Salman Khan, considered close to Katrina, and Vivek is far from being hunky-dory.

However, she hurriedly added that she takes her own decisions and denied that they were influenced by Salman.

In a sensational interview to a news daily, Ayesha Shroff has clarified many a misconceptions about Katrina Kaif. First things first ‘Kaif’ is not Katrina’s real surname but she is Katrina Turquotte originally. “Katrina had an English surname, which was not easy to pronounce. She is not Katrina Kaif originally. She is Katrina Turquotte. We wanted to give her a surname which would be accepted by the Indian audience. First we thought of naming her Katrina Kazi, but then we thought Kazi would have a religious overtone. So we thought of Kaif”, says a placid Ayesha.

But the latest buzz is that Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan are coming together for a Yash Raj film.

The film will be directed either by Aditya Chopra or Kabir Khan of New York fame.
