Happy Earth Day. Born in Britain, speaks Hindi with an accent—Katrina Kaif is no close to the typical Bollywood actress but still she has made a mark in Indians’ hearts. The former model from Finchley, north London, Katrina arrived in Mumbai in 2003 and has played the lead in 10 films till date. After a disastrous start with Boom, she went on to give a string of hit films and has created her own niche in Bollywood.
Ok, so while the Ranbir-Deepika pyar ka insecure kissa gains momentum on one end, there’s another ajab kahani at the other. It, of course, has everything to do with Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan’s ishq-vishq. They are so used to reading about their break-up stories, that every time such a tale is out in print they hurriedly make an appearance together! Coincidence?
An old adage says, ‘birds of a feather flock together’. It seems the same old adage aptly describes Katrina’s new found love for painting, a common passion shared by both Katrina and her beau Salman Khan.
According to the latest B-town buzz, the graceful actress is taking quite an interest in painting nowadays. Akin to her beau Salman, Katrina carries colours, brushes and paints whenever she gets spare time from her hectic schedule. According to a close source to petite actress, “Katrina is a quite good at paintings.“
With Katrina Kaif not commenting on her personal life and Salman Khan keeping mum on the subject as well, we are left to simply speculate on the nature of their relationship. It seems as though one minute they’re a couple and the next they’re breaking up. Well if you take into account Katrina’s latest comments it seems as though the two are either on the outs or no longer an item.
In a recent interview Katrina gave props to Shahrukh Khan, someone whom Salman is not on speaking terms with. She said, “Salman is unpredictable, while Shahrukh is intelligent and Akshay is a blast.” She also said, “Salman always does hins that he feels right and only he knows why he feels that particular thing is right… you can’t track his mood. As for me, I really don’t get into those things nor spend too much time trying to understand him because the entire process is too lengthy and complicated.”
It’s no secret that Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif is naturally well endowed at all the right places.
Even the half-blind can see what a poll conducted by a website seems to be suggesting – that Katrina Kaif has the sexiest butt, even sexier than the behinds of Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Biel, Beyonce Knowles, Malaika Arora and Yana Gupta . However, when it comes to luscious lips, Katrina had to concede to Priyanka Chopra whose natural pout is as eye-grabbing as Kat’s butt.
The sprightly Katrina Kaif has graced the arm of many an older leading man, namely Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan. But the young 24-year-old is finally ditching the 40 plus actors for some younger leading men! She has just finished shooting for ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’ with Ranbir Kapoor, and is being considered for Sanjay Gadhvi’s next project with Imran Khan. She’s also in New York with Neil Mukesh. Kaif will team up with Ranbir again for Prakah Jha’s ‘Rajniti’.
Kaif’s first successful movie was ‘Sarkar’ in 2005 where she appeared briefly as Abhishek Bachchan’s girlfriend. Then her next movie was with the 43-year-old Salman Khan in ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ in 2006. After Khan (whom she’s been dating since 2003), Kaif did Namastey London with Akshay Kumar. In 2008 she appeared opposite yet another older man, Saif Ali Khan, in Race. With so many young men out there, maybe Kaif is finally sticking to her age group.
A wrap-up bash of Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani was held on Sunday night at producer Ramesh Taurani’s Khar home. The film’s lead pair Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor were all smiles.
Kat had arrived straight from a photo shoot as a result she was spotted with two temporary tattoes on her chest and arm which were part of her look for the shoot.
